I can never forget the summer in 1996. I went through an extremity of despair due to my failure in the National College Entrance Examination. It seemed that my dream of being a university student would never come true. It was a miracle that he survived and was found 76 days later(the longest anyone has survived a shipwreck on a life raft alone). Now I work as an English teacher in a middle school. Whenever my students complain about their difficulties in study or want to give up, I will tell the same story of Callahan to them. I just want to make them believe they can handle their difficulties because their circumstances are only bad compared to something better. But others have been through much worse. Then they will build up fortitude.

So here, coming to us from the extreme edge of survival, are words that can give us strength. Whatever you’re going through, tell yourself you can handle it. Compared to what others have been through, you’re fortunate. Tell this to yourself over and over, and it will help you get through the rough spots with little more fortitude.

In order to protect human beings, many countries have already taken measures to control nuclear energy. Institutions like The International Atomic Energy Agency are devoted to strengthening the implementation of safeguards. In my point of view, nuclear energy is a risk but as we are facing an energy shortage, it is the best solution we currently have available. I believe with great effort and responsibility, nuclear energy can be well controlled and continue to serve the world.

Because they have paid a lot for the room fee. Some of the middle school students use the water for drinking to play jokes on others just for fun. But who has thought about our life in the future? Why don’t people know how to save it until we have lost it? Why don’t people know how important the water is until the last drop of water becomes our tears? Let’s save the water, for you, for me , for the future.

Reuse the water which you wash the fruits to clean the toilets. Reuse the water which you wash your face to clean the floor and furniture. Reuse the water which you wash the rice to water the flowers. I think it’s the good way to save water. It not only saves water but also saves money.

Now is the time to finish the job. The bill that the House has produced will provide stability and security for Americans who have insurance; quality, affordable options for those who don't; and lower costs for American families and American businesses. And as I've insisted from the beginning, it is a bill that is fully paid for and will actually reduce our long-term federal deficit(赤字，不足).

This bill is change that the American people urgently need. Don't just take my word for it. Consider the national groups who've come out in support of this bill on behalf of their members: The Consumers Union supports it because it will create -- and I quote -- xxxa more secure, affordable health care system for the American people.xxx

The American Medical Association and the American Nurses Association support it on behalf of doctors and nurses and medical professionals who know firsthand what's broken in our current system, and who see what happens when their patients can't get the care they need because of insurance industry bureaucracies(官僚政治).

The National Farmers Union supports this bill because it will control costs for farmers and ranchers(牧場(chǎng)主), and address the unique challenges rural Americans face when it comes to receiving quality care.

And the AARP supports it because it will achieve the goal for which the AARP has been fighting for decades -- reducing the cost of health care, expanding coverage for America's seniors, and strengthening Medicare for the long haul.

Now, no bill can ever contain everything that everybody wants, or please every constituency(選區(qū)) and every district. That's an impossible task. But what is possible, what's in our grasp right now is the chance to prevent a future where every day 14,000 Americans continue to lose their health insurance, and every year 18,000 Americans die because they don't have it; a future where crushing costs keep small businesses from succeeding and big businesses from competing in the global economy; a future where countless dreams are deferred or scaled back because of a broken system we could have fixed when we had the chance.

What we can do right now is choose a better future and pass a bill that brings us to the very cusp(尖頭，尖端) of building what so many generations of Americans have sought to build -- a better health care system for this country.

Millions of Americans are watching right now. Their families and their businesses are counting on us. After all, this is why they sent us here, to finally confront the challenges that Washington had been putting off for decades -- to make their lives better, to leave this country stronger than we found it.

I just came from the Hill where I talked to the members of Congress there, and I reminded them that opportunities like this come around maybe once in a generation. Most public servants pass through their entire careers without a chance to make as important a difference in the lives of their constituents and the life of this country. This is their moment, this is our moment, to live up to the trust that the American people have placed in us -- even when it's hard; especially when it's hard. This is our moment to deliver.

The benefit to China in introducing these initiatives will be significant and far-reaching. It is important to realize that these initiatives need to filter down through all elements of the society in China. For instance, cutting edge technologies and intellectual properties; the development of e-commerce based economy; an education system that encourages innovation and creativity; increased foreign investment; higher living standards; more efficient use of natural resources.

It is important for us to realize these reforms are both essential and necessary. These will help China to fulfill its vast and unrealized potential on the world stage. It will also contribute more to a globalized world of the new century.

As for the future our task is not to foresee but to enable.

everyone has a dream. now i'll talk about my dream i what is my dream? i often ask myself. when i was a little boy, i wanted to be a soldier with a gun so that i could defend our motherland.

now i am a young boy with a new dream——to be a doc-tor. i want to be a famous doctor, helping the sick and saving their lives. why has my dream changed? well, at the age of 11 i was ill, badly ill. i was told that i had cancer. i had to leave both my school and my friends and go to the hospital. every day i suf-fered the troubles caused by this illness.

i also saw some people who were suffering and dying of ill-nesses. i made up my mind to become a doctor, so that i can help the sick people and cure them of their diseases. china is a develop-ing country. she needs good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and lonely villages.

i want to try my best to help the poor sick people of our country. i want to let them have an opportunity to receive excel-lent treatments for their illnesses without having to pay much or any money.

i'll do every bit to cure the incurable. i hope to see a world where there is no cancer, no aids, no fatal diseases. i'm confident.

三針對(duì)我校學(xué)生實(shí)際，分析學(xué)情，尤其對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)困生分析了成因：

1對(duì)英語(yǔ)不感興趣2錯(cuò)誤歸因：一些學(xué)生在英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中遇到困難或失敗時(shí)，錯(cuò)誤地把原因歸結(jié)于自己的能力，認(rèn)為自己不是學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的材料，因此放棄嘗試和應(yīng)有的努力，聽(tīng)之任之。3元認(rèn)知欠缺：有的學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)無(wú)目標(biāo)，隨意性大；課上被動(dòng)地聽(tīng)課，等待老師布置作業(yè)；遇到問(wèn)題時(shí)，不懂采用任何補(bǔ)救措施，這些都是元認(rèn)知的表現(xiàn)，也是造成學(xué)業(yè)不良的重要原因。

轉(zhuǎn)化學(xué)困生的具體措施：

1.培養(yǎng)興趣，正面激勵(lì)

困擾英語(yǔ)學(xué)困生的最根本原因是興趣和信心的問(wèn)題。所以，我們?cè)谵D(zhuǎn)化英語(yǔ)學(xué)困生的時(shí)侯，關(guān)鍵要找到他的興趣點(diǎn)，激發(fā)他的興趣，使他具有學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的內(nèi)在動(dòng)力。
