翻轉課堂是教師創建視頻，學生在家中觀看視頻自主學習，在課堂上參與活動并完成練習的一種教學形態。“翻轉課堂”的先進之處在于充分調動學生自主學習的能力，顛覆傳統教學模式，讓學生充分動腦，不再是傳統被動接受等等，初步落實了分層教學。學生自學教材后，可以根據自己的需要決定是否觀看微課，可以根據自己的需要決定觀看幾遍。同時，還可以通過兩人合作、多人合作等多種合作方式，解決自學教材、觀看視頻后沒有解決的問題。但是要想真正實施，就涉及到了微課的課題選擇和制作技術掌握的問題。

眾所周知，我國學生學習英語往往缺乏一定的語言環境，缺乏語言實踐的機會，而實際教學中又往往只注重句型和詞匯的學習，忽視句型的具體應用。因而，不少學生能從原型例子和教材練習中獲得固定的、孤立的知識點，但將這些知識遷移到實際生活情境的能力比較差，當他們遇到與之不同場合下的現實問題時就束手無策。而通過多媒體，我們能在課堂上模擬現實生活的情景。如我在教句型“Can I help you ？”時，通過Powerpoint設計了幾個情景：

（1）你去商店買東西；

（2）一個學生幫助一位老人過馬路。

（3）一個中學生主動幫助一位外國人認路。

學生在這些模擬現實生活的情景中邊看邊說，不僅熟悉了“Can I help you ？”而且知道使用這句話的具體環境（什么時候說），它所表達的意思（怎么說），以及其它一些相關句子的用法。基于情景的教學中，學生既要考慮所處的場合，又要使所表達的內容前后連貫，也就是要把符合環境要求的一些句子組織在上下連貫、前后呼應的語篇中。在學習“Can I help you ？”句型時，根據前面設計的情景，我們可以采用對話的形式，使學生自動聯想以前學過的知識，如“Thank you very much.”和“You are welcome 。”等句型和單詞，并將它們用到現在的情景對話中。這樣一來，通過多媒體我們不僅縮短了教學和現實的距離，給學生提供使用英語交際的機會，而且滿足了他們好奇、好動的心理，學生觸景生情，激發起用英語表達的欲望。這種情境性學習無疑在一定程度上促進了學習遷移，使學生在英語交際活動中提高了交際能力這樣，學生不但學習了新知識，還復習了原有知識，更重要的是培養了知識整合、靈活運用的能力。

三、優化教學手段、豐富教學內容，突出教學重點和難點

傳統教學中學生任務是聽，然后跟老師讀。這種教學手段單一、不靈活，枯燥無味。漸漸地，學生對英語失去興趣，討厭上英語課，怕上英語課。而采用多媒體技術教學，通過豐富的圖像、聲音、動畫、視頻等對視覺、聽覺的刺激，能極大地激發學生的好奇心。這樣通過看、聽、說、演等不同的教學方法能使不同層次的同學都能參與到課堂活動中來，他們就會有一種成就感，能體驗到成功的喜悅。此時，老師走下講臺，到同學們中，及時給予幫助，同時分享他們的快樂，師生關系民主，合作愉快。同學之間互相幫助，互相學習，愿意合作，營造了和諧的課堂氣氛，使學生主動參與到學習英語中去。如英語教學中，單詞的學習是相對的枯燥的，傳統方法是教師領讀或用錄音機范讀，學生跟讀，這些都不能有效全面地刺激學生的感觀，應用多媒體課件聲像并茂，會給學生全新的感受，他們的興奮點被調動起來，對于單詞的學習也就輕而易舉了。如：插入一個可愛的喜羊羊，分別在喜羊羊的不同位置插入暖羊羊，灰太狼等不就一目了然了嗎，而且學生既輕松，印象又深刻。再讓他們聽讀說不就簡單容易得多了嗎，而且恐怕他們還很愿意去運用一下。再如為了突出動詞在主語為第三人稱單數的一般現在時態的句子中的變化，可在課件中制作不同的人，有單數和復數，采用不同的提問方式，讓學生回答，并把關鍵詞做成紅色，十分醒目，加深學生對此的印象。最后，讓學生來歸納總結動詞的變化。在他們總結后，打出條列清楚，重點突出的表格加深鞏固他們的學習成果。
